How to prepare for a deep-cleaning service
Set a clear cleaning scope for a home, office or move-in cleaning appointment.
Walk through the space and list priority areas, such as kitchen grease, bathrooms, windows, fans, floors or post-renovation dust. Tell the cleaner the property size, number of rooms, access time and whether water and electricity are available.
Ask what supplies and equipment are included, what tasks are excluded, how many cleaners will attend and how long the work is expected to take. Put fragile or personal items away before the appointment.
Inspect priority areas together at the end. Raise any concern before the team leaves, and keep the invoice for future cleaning schedules.
Agree which rooms, surfaces and appliances are included before arrival. Record existing stains, damage and access limits with photos, especially in rental units. At handover, use the same list to check the result and raise any missing item promptly with clear photos and the booking reference.
