Miri emergency contacts: what to do and who to call

Use 999 for immediate danger, then use verified local hospital, police, fire-rescue and council contacts for the right follow-up.

For an immediate threat to life or safety in Miri, call 999 first. Give your exact location, a nearby landmark, what happened and a callback number.

Hospital Miri's Emergency and Trauma Department operates 24 hours. Cari Local also lists official direct contacts for Miri District Police Headquarters and the Miri Fire and Rescue Station. These are useful for follow-up, but do not replace 999 for an emergency in progress.

For non-immediate council matters, use Miri City Council's verified public channels. If a situation involves fire, fallen cables, violence or a medical emergency, keep yourself safe and follow the emergency operator's instructions.
